Vapor Cigarettes – Are They Really Harmful?
An electric cigarette is a miniature electronic device which essentially mimics regular tobacco smoking. It basically includes a battery, a power power source just like a battery or charger, and a humidifier or vaporizer. Rather than smoke, the smoker inhales vap. Therefore, utilizing an electronic cigarette is frequently described as “e-smoking”.
The difference between a vapor cigarette and a conventional “sticky” cigarette is the manner in which the vapor is inhaled. In a normal cigarette, as in most other styles of tobacco use, smoke is inhaled through a burning mechanism. But since an e cigarette releases no smoke, there is no need to breathe in smoke. Instead, as is inhaled which carries nicotine, that is the addictive element found in tobacco, along with various other toxins and carcinogens.
The issue with vapor cigarettes and other forms of tobacco use is that there are some serious health consequences that may occur from long term use of tobacco products. Not only can it cause cancer but it can also dramatically reduce a person’s sperm fertility and decrease the caliber of their breast milk. The reproductive system could be damaged by prolonged use, as well. This damage can happen to both men and women and it is worrisome for young women who might not yet have their menstrual cycles or know when they will experience their first one.
There is no doubt that the act of smoking can be highly addictive. It really is this highly addictive nature, which makes vapor cigarettes so much more attractive than other types of tobacco use. When you vaporize the tobacco, you’re essentially eliminating that initial “kick” that cigarettes provide. Consequently, smoking becomes a far more passive experience, one in which your body isn’t as accustomed to acting on its “high” as it would be when you smoked the tobacco.
Vapor cigarettes aren’t necessarily safer than regular cigarettes. Actually, according to the American Cancer Society, they may be even more hazardous than regular cigarettes. They contain higher levels of tar and carbon monoxide than regular cigarettes, and also contain an ingredient called “tar” that’s highly toxic, aswell. The American Cancer Society along with other health organizations have needed an immediate cessation of all using tobacco, using all available resources to fight this dangerous habit.
The reason why that vapor cigarettes can be so damaging to your wellbeing, though, is that you do not get the nicotine kick that you’ll get from a cigarette. You get exactly the same “high”, only at a much slower pace. Since an “e Cig” lasts no more than a half hour or less, you don’t need to go through the entire normal session of smoking, Novo 2 which many people find to be difficult to do.
Another major concern is that there is absolutely no tar or other toxins produced with an e Cig. Once you smoke a regular cigarette, you’re adding many chemicals to your system with each puff. With an electronic cigarette, no such chemicals are released. So although you might not feel any “high” or “stop smoking”, you’re still indirectly adding harmful chemicals to your body.
Even though medical community will not recommend using vapor cigarettes, many people who use them believe that they’re harmless. Some even say that the lack of taste is a benefit, since you won’t get burned if you’re unable to tell what’s in the mouth area. Some people, however, do notice a strange burnt taste in their mouth after having tried an e Cig, but they are usually due to the burning tobacco that’s within most vapor cigarettes. Even so, vapor cigarettes are gaining in popularity, especially given that they do not need you to smoke.
